Baltimore Police Announce Arrests In Fatal Stabbing Of Man In Charles Village Apartment

Baltimore police arrested two men in connection with a fatal stabbing that took place in a Charles Village apartment on July 19.

Forty-two-year-old Eric Brown and 44-year-old Eric Dollson was charged with conspiracy to commit murder, armed robbery, first- and second-degree murder and first- and second-degree assault.

On July 19, police was called to the 100 block of West 25th Street, where 31-year-old Jose Gonzales-Jiminez’s decomposing body was found. Police said the victim was kneeling at the side of a bed at the time of his death.

Police said Gonzales-Jiminez had $600 on his persons after cashing his paycheck.

According to an autopsy report, the victim had “several puncture wounds” on the left side of his neck.

Last week, Dollson was arrested on unrelated charges, police said.

Police were able to make an identification of both suspects through surveillance video footage and witnesses who were on the property on July 18 at about 2:30 a.m.

Dollson denied being involved in the murder, but said he was present and participated in in the robbery.
