Baltimore County Police Identify Victim In Rosedale Fatal Collision


Baltimore County, Maryland – Baltimore County Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that happened in the early morning hours in Rosedale on Thursday, May 17.

The Baltimore County Police Crash Investigation Team responded to the intersection of Pulaski Highway and Berk Avenue, 21237 just before 5 a.m. for a single vehicle crash where officers found a 2014 Nissan Versa crashed into the concrete lane barrier. The sole occupant of the car, James Robinson (62) of the 3700-block of Barrington Road, 21215 was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 5:58 a.m.

The subsequent investigation revealed that the Versa struck the side of a large crane as the driver of the crane was turning onto Berk Avenue from the eastbound lane of Pulaski Highway. The driver of the crane did not remain at the scene of the collision. Investigators have located the crane and found evidence connecting the crane to the collision with the Nissan Versa. The investigation is on going at this time.
