Baltimore County Police Identify Victim In Essex Shooting


Baltimore County, Maryland – On Friday, December 8, just after 8 p.m., police responded to a call for shots fired in the 900 block of Ashbridge Drive in Essex where they discovered one victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, Lance Chaz Dixon, 25, of Ashbridge Drive, was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident but the preliminary investigation indicates that an argument with the suspect may have precipitated the shooting. Detectives continue to work to identify that suspect.
