Baltimore County Police Identify Victim In Eastern Avenue Pedestrian-Involved Collision


Baltimore County Police were dispatched to Eastern Avenue at 54th Street at approximately 7 a.m. Wednesday to investigate a pedestrian-involved collision. At the scene, officers located an adult male who had been struck by a Jeep Cherokee.

Preliminary investigation revealed the Jeep was traveling eastbound on Eastern Avenue approaching 54th Street, when it hit the victim. The driver of the Jeep remained at the scene. Medics transported the victim to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Detectives identified the victim as 66-year-old James Allen Dunnock. The investigation is ongoing.
