Baltimore County Police Identify Victim In Black Rock Road Collision


Baltimore County Police say a 33-year-old man was fatally injured in a collision Friday afternoon on Black Rock Road.

Approximately 1:30 p.m., police responded to a single-vehicle collision on Black Rock Road near Falls Road. At the scene, officers observed two people trapped in a truck that had overturned.

First responders spent the next 2 ½ hours extricating the driver and a passenger from the truck. The passenger was airlifted to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center for treatment of life threatening injuries.

The driver of the truck, 33-year-old Thomas Wayne Crawford Jr. of the 2000 block of Freeland Road in Freeland was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
