Baltimore County Police Identify Suspects In Dundalk July 4th Stabbing


Baltimore County, Maryland – Just after 10:00 p.m. on July 4, 2018, Baltimore County Police responded to the parking lot of the Save-A-Lot in the 1700-block of Merritt Boulevard, 21222 for a stabbing. Police determined that an argument occurred between one man and the suspects about the traffic leaving the parking lot at the end of the fireworks show. The victim saw the argument and tried to intercede to avoid a fight. At that time, the suspects pulled the victim into their car and stabbed the man.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for wounds to the upper-body. The 33-year-old victim is expected to survive his injuries. Subsequent investigation by police led to the identification of both suspects.

Deion Nicholas Richardson, 21, of the 3500-block of Wagon Trail Road, 21220 has been charged with first-degree and second-degree assault. Christopher Marquis Thomas, 22, of the 3600-block of Sollers Point Road, 21222 has also been charged with first-degree and second-degree assault. Both men are being held without bail at the Baltimore County Department of Corrections.
