Autopsy Ordered For Baby Found Dead In Maryland Motel Parking Lot

On Sunday, police and Fire and Rescue personnel responded to a call around 10:30AM regarding an infant not breathing. When the authorities arrived at the Motel 6, they found a 4-month-old baby. The baby was rushed to the hospital, but pronounced dead upon arrival. Before the call, the preliminary police investigation reports that the infant was inside a motor vehicle with family members.

The female child was discovered at the Motel 6 at 497 Quince Orchard Road. While details were scarce at the time, police have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing.

At this point in time, detectives have labeled the cause of death as undetermined. They now wait for the medical examiner’s findings. Authorities are asking anyone that could aid the investigation to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070.
