ASM Research To Lay Off 36 Employees At Its Batavia Facility


ASM Research filed a Workers Adjustment and Retraining Notification with the New York State Department of Labor on December 28. The notice indicates the company will close its facility at 222 Richmond Avenue in Batavia, New York and lay off 36 employees.

Business Closing

ASM Research is an information solutions integrator and provider of innovative technology solutions.

The reason for the closure described in the filing is a possible cancellation of Enterprise Service Desk contract for the Veteran Affairs. The Batavia facility will close on March 27, 2018 the same day employee separations are scheduled to occur.

The affected employees are not represented by a union.
