Annapolis High School Student Suffers Stab Wound During Altercation


Anne Arundel County Police say a 17-year-old male suffered a “superficial stab wound” to the back and arm during an altercation Wednesday morning.

Preliminary investigation revealed that four juveniles were believed to be involved in the altercation that escalated with a 17-year-old male student being stabbed. A small pocketknife was recovered from one of the juvenile’s possession.ArrestOfficers arrested and cited all four juveniles, along with the victim who was treated at a local hospital for multiple superficial stab wounds. All five juveniles from Annapolis – ranging from 14 to 17 years of age – were charged with disruption of school activities and second-degree assault. One of the juveniles was also charged with reckless endangerment and possession of weapon with intent to injure.
