A New Search Tool Reveals That Over 550,000 Cars On Baltimore’s Roads Have Been Recalled

Limited access to recall information is the reason why over 550,000 vehicles are still on Baltimore’s roads. A new tool launched by MotorSafety.org will permit owners to utilize their vehicle identification number (VIN) to search for recall status.

The website keeps a collection of the most recent news articles that detail information about vehicle recalls. If the user discovers a questionable recall with their vehicle, the website will direct them to a certified dealer to deal with the issue.

“In many cases, people aren’t even aware that their car is in recall,” the site said in a statement. “This is a mass public concern that is dangerous not only for owners, but for anyone on the road.”
