40-Year-Old Man Arrested In Connection With Severn Purse Snatching Case


Anne Arundel County Police arrested suspect in a citizen robbery that took place on September 28 in Severn.

Approximately 10:16 a.m., police responded to George Clauss Boulevard to investigate a citizen robbery. At the scene, officers met an elderly female who told them that a suspect approached her and grabbed her purse, before fleeing on foot.

George ClaussThrough investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspect as 45-year-old Jermaine Alphonso Holland of the 400 block of Pamela Road in Glen Burnie.

Holland was arrested Monday afternoon and charged with robbery and three open arrest warrants.
