35-Year-Old Man Shot In The Head In Southeast District, Police Say


Baltimore Police are investigating a shooting that left a 35-year-old male in serious condition.

Approximately 1:15 a.m. Sunday morning, police were dispatched to the 100 North Belnord Avenue to investigate a reported shooting. At the scene, the responding officers located a man who had been shot in the side and head. The man was alert and conscious at the time, according to the news release.

Medics transported the man to a local hospital, where he is listed in serious condition.

About three hours later, police were dispatched to a local hospital, where a shooting victim arrived seeking treatment for an upper back gunshot wound. The 24-year-old man is in serious, but stable condition.

The investigation revealed that the victim had been shot in the 700 block of Longwood Street at Poplar Grove Street.
