3 Shot, 1 Critically In Overnight Shootings In Baltimore

A violent 48 hours in Baltimore left three people shot, with one critically injured, police said.

Around 9:30 p.m. Monday, Baltimore City police officers were at a local hospital investigating a shooting, when a man arrived for treatment of multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. The 22-year-old was taken into surgery and is listed in critical condition.

About 10:47 p.m., an unidentified suspect shot 17-year-old in the 2500 block of Woodbrook Avenue. Police said the boy suffered a gunshot would to the collarbone. When police found the victim, he was three blocks away from where the incident took place. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Baltimore's 2017 Homicide Rate Hits 100Just after midnight, police responded to a report of a shooting in the 4900 block of Greencrest Road in Frankford, where a 19-year-old man was suffering from a gunshot would to the leg and arm. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
