Baltimore County Police were dispatched to North Point Boulevard to investigate a pedestrian collision at approximately 9:19 p.m. Tuesday night. At the scene, the responding officers located a male suffering from critical injuries. Medics transported the man to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
A female who also injured in the collision is expected to survive her injuries.
Preliminary investigation revealed 24-year-old Michael Alan Phillips of the 2300 block of Lodge Farm Road and a female pedestrian attempted to cross North Point Boulevard near Delmar Avenue when a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze struck them.
Detectives said there was no crosswalk where the victim and female attempted to cross.
