24-Year-Old Injured In Eastern District Shooting, Victim Identified In Unrelated Shooting


Baltimore Police say a 24-year-old man was shot in the leg Wednesday morning in the Eastern District.

Approximately 5:15 a.m., police responded to the 1200 block of Darley Avenue to investigate a reported shooting. At the scene, the responding officers discovered a 24-year-old man who had been shot in the leg. The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.

Police identify victim in Southern District shooting as Dandre McLaughlin, 19, of the 2600 block of West Cold Spring Lane.

On October 10, police were dispatched to the 900 block of North Monroe Street for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival to the scene, the responding officers found the 19-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
