18-Year-Old Struck And Killed By Vehicle In College Park


Prince George’s County Police said a vehicle fatally struck an 18-year-old female in College Park Sunday.

Approximately 6:20 a.m. Sunday, the Prince George’s County Police Department received a report of a pedestrian collision at the intersection of Baltimore Avenue and Campus Drive. At the scene, the officers located an 18-year-old female critically injured. She was taken to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.

ArrestThe preliminary investigation revealed a SUV struck Maria Fisher of Eagles View in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, when she attempted to cross the northbound lanes of Baltimore Avenue. The driver of the SUV was not injured in the collision.
