18-Year-Old Fatally Shot In Baltimore’s Northwest District


Baltimore Police said an 18-year-old male was fatally shot in the Northwest District.

Approximately 2:15 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a report of gunfire in the 3800 block of Norfolk Avenue. At the scene, a citizen flagged down the officers alerting them that they were taking a shooting victim to the local hospital.

Officers followed the vehicle to the hospital, where the victim was immediately taken into surgery. A short time later he was pronounced deceased. The 18-year-old male had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.
