Metropolitan Police said a 14-year-old girl stabbed a 13-year-old boy multiple times in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday.
Around 12:50 p.m. police responded to a report of a stabbing at a private school. At the scene, police located the victim who suffered multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Since the 14-year-old has diplomatic immunity, police could not file charges against her. Detectives said they would consult with federal authorities proceeding further.
