1 Man Injured In Southeast District Shooting, Victim Identified In Separate Fatal Shooting


Baltimore Police said a man was shot in the arm and side in the Southeast District Tuesday morning.

Police responded to an area hospital, where a 34-year-old man was being treated for multiple gunshot wounds. The victim’s condition is unknown at this time, as he was taken into surgery.

Additional details were not immediately available.

Accident Scene

Police identified a man who was fatally shot on August 8 in the 4500 block of Edmondson Avenue at the Dollar General Store, as Deric Ford Sr., 54, of the 3600 block of Edmondson Avenue. He was pronounced dead at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, police said. The motive was determined to be a robbery.
