1 Injured, 1 Killed in Southwestern District Shooting


Baltimore Police said a man was fatally shot in the Southwestern District Friday night. A possible second victim walked into a local hospital for treatment of gunshot wound to his torso. Investigators believe the shooting victims were connected.

Around 8:56 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting at the intersection of Collins Avenue and Frederick Avenue. At the scene, the responding officers located a 35-year-old man with gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where is succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
