1 dead, 2 injured in Montgomery Co. single-car crash, victims hospitalized

On Friday, a person died in a single-car crash in Montgomery County. In that very same incident, 2 people were injured. This crash occurred on Sligo Avenue and Piney Branch road at around 4.30 am. The Montgomery County police had said a silver 2007 scion TC was traveling in the eastbound direction on Sligo Avenue. The car had 3 people inside it, and then it happened when it crossed the median in the westbound lane. The car then overturned, and then it crossed an area of intersection. Meantime, it hit a pole that was on the east side of Piney Branch road.

Darlin Reyes Gomez was pronounced dead in the incident.

In this particular incident that occurred at 4.30 am on Saturday, the Scion driver, Darlin Reyes Gomez, is just 22 years old. He belongs to Laurel, who was ejected and finally declared dead at the scene. The authorities are still investigating the case. The adult male passengers who were there in the Scion were further transported to the area hospital. According to the police, they are said to have got life-threatening injuries.
