Fernau LeBlanc Investment Partners, a Bethesa-based firm, acquired the 42 acres of land and 412,500-square-feet of space that made up the remaining White Marsh properties, which are about 95 percent occupied.
The $47.5 million investment deal adds eight properties to the firm’s portfolio in the Baltimore area. The properties are located on Nottingham Ridge Road, Sandpiper Circle and Corporate Drive.
Corporate Office Properties Trust said in a statement that it is trying to reposition its portfolio to information technology real estate and defense. The $47.5 million deal brought the total to $1.5 billion of assets the firm has sold, as part of the shift.
