A five-story building on at 100 West Road has sold to Merritt Properties for $24.55 million.
The 121,414-square-foot building located at 100 West Road has a conference center, large atrium, fitness center and café. The building is 100 percent occupied, but early next year 2,174 square feet will come available for rent. Existing tenants include Regus and Liberty Mutual and Robert W. Baird & Co.
The acquisition will add to Merritt’s existing 824,895-square-foot, Class A office portfolio in Timonium and Towson.
“Towson is a major employment center and a hub of a variety of business and corporate headquarters,” Scott Dorsey, CEO of Merritt Companies said in an Interview with The Baltimore Sun. “In addition to representing a stable market, the area is growing rapidly as evidence by many recent developments.”
