Suspect Involved In Triple Stabbing At El Rich Motel In Baltimore County Is Arrested

Around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, Baltimore County police responded to a triple stabbing at the El Rich Motel, where they discovered three stabbing victims. The suspect had already left the area before police arrived.

Police announced Thursday that they had arrested Timothy Lee Nobles, 20, of the 3800 block of East Joppa Road in Nottingham in connection with the incident. He was at the Royal Farms on 62nd Street in Rosedale, when police apprehended him.Nobles has been charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, three counts of reckless endangerment armed robbery and theft of less than $1,000, police said.

Nobles had approached a man in front of a motel room. The two men walked inside the room, where another man was located. A physical altercation broke out and Nobles stabbed the man, the other man who attempted to restrain Nobles was also stabbed.

Upon leaving the motel, Nobles stabbed another man that was sitting outside a neighboring motel room and then fled the area.

Two of the men were treated for minor injuries at a local hospital and released. A 26-year-old man who suffered life-threatening injuries is in critical condition, police said.
