The Prince George’s County Department of Family, Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking Division is scheduled to host a Red Flags of Domestic Violence Community Symposium on March 1, 2017. The event is free to Prince Georgians and everyone is encouraged to attend.
The focus of the event will be the signs and red flags related to domestic violence. Victim centered discussions will be utilized to engage the community and anyone interested in attending or participating in the event will need to register at the link provided below.
The key is to end domestic violence, by increasing awareness within the community. Providing domestic violence victims with access to resources, in the event of an emergency and helping family members and friends learn how to spot the red flags and signs of domestic violence will help significantly.
