The Harford County Sheriff’s Office said a Fallston man was arrested in connection with possessing and distributing child pornography on the web.
Nineteen-year-old Alexander Philip Nyce, of Queensberry Road, was arrested and charged with one count of possession of child pornography and one count of distribution, according court charging documents.
On July 20, the Department of Homeland Security contacted the Harford County Child Advocacy Center, alerting them of a photo with an adult female and pre-pubescent having sex. The image was distributed on KIK, a social media site. The IP address was linked to a KIK user named “goodguy13” and the Queensberry Drive address.
It was later discovered that the user name was connected to other social media accounts, according to the charging documents.
ICE Homeland Security Investigations and investigators from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office served a search and seizure warrant on that home and recovered several computer equipment, digital storage media and personal electronics belonging to Nyce.
According to the court documents, Nyce admitted to detectives that he had been distributing child pornography since he was 17.
Child pornography was also retrieved from Nyce’s cellphone, including one image in particular of a peripubescent girl touching herself.
Nyce posted a $5,000 bond and was released to pretrial services.
