A Baltimore woman has been arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing that took place in the 4500 block of Edmonson Avenue about 7:50 p.m. July 21.
Corey Jenkins, 30, was charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of Ray Woodland, according to Baltimore police. Jenkins stabbed Woodland during an altercation.
Police were able to identify Jenkins after the community came forward with tips and surveillance footage surfaced. She was arrested on Thursday in the 3800 block of Woodridge Road in Edmondson Village.
Jenkins faces additional charges of second-degree murder, possession of a dangerous weapon with intent to cause injury, first- and second-degree assault, theft and reckless endangerment.
She is being held in jail without bond.
