A new bar, café and performance venue is scheduled to open in Motor House, a nonprofit gallery, arts and performance space, in October.
The café, dubbed Showroom, will take over the space that recently housed a Ford car showroom at 120 West North Avenue. The 70-seat restaurant and bar will provide live and DJ entertainment.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be offered Monday through Saturday. The breakfast and lunch menu will feature a variety of sandwiches on sourdough, salads, zucchini noodles with spicy seared tuna and house-smoke salmon belly with horseradish cream, pickled onion and green apples.
The dinner menu will feature Proper Bolsita, kettle potato chips with braised beef shortribs, and bolsitas with a variety of options.
Motor House, owned by BARCO, includes 25-square-foot of space with 14 artist studies, a gallery, performance venue and seven spaces for nonprofit arts organizations.
