The teenager was found at 10:45 p.m. at the intersection of Fayette and Howard streets, but police are not saying if this is where the stabbing took place. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment, Baltimore Police Detective Jeremy Silbert said.
Detectives believe the man was involved in an altercation with his assailant when he was stabbed. His condition is currently unknown.
The severity of the victim’s wounds prompted for homicide detectives to be called to the scene.
Police are asking the public to help identify the suspect and solve the crime. Anyone in the vicinity at the time of the incident or with information may call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP or detectives at 410-396-2100.
