Howard County Police said a woman in the 11300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway Friday was assault and robbed.
Around 7:16 p.m., a woman was assaulted and robbed by two acquaintances. The suspects stole the victim’s cell phone charger and debit card, before fleeing the area. No injuries were reported, police said.
A short time later, police arrested one of the suspects was identified as 20-year-old Andrea Jacqueline Solorzano-Duena of Columbia Road in Columbia. Solorzano-Duena was charged with destruction of property, theft, assault and robbery.
Around 8:55 p.m. Friday, police responded to a report of a robbery at Verizon Wireless in the block of Dobbin Center Way. At the scene, an employee told police that three men who had their faces partially covered demanded cell phones. Police said the employee complied with the suspects’ demands. Before fleeing the store, one of the suspects stole money from the cash register. No injuries were reported.
Around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, police received a report of a robbery at the Liberty Gas in the 6400 block of Dobbin Center. The employee was robbed at knifepoint. The suspect stole cash and cigarettes before fleeing the scene.
Police responded to a report of a robbery at the Exxon Gas station in the 8200 block of Snowden River Parkway about 1:13 a.m. Sunday morning. Police said an employee was robbed a man at knifepoint. The suspect entered the store, selected several items and placed them on the counter. When payment was requested, the suspect grabbed the employee and displayed a knife.
Police believe the robbery was connected to the Liberty Gas robbery.
