Four People Get 9-Month Incarceration For Refusing To Testify During Heroin Trial

Acting U.S. Attorney Soo C. Song announced Friday three people had been sentenced to nine months in prison for contempt of court.

Thirty-six-year-old Khayri Battle of Newark, New Jersey and 30-year-old Shane Brooks, 48-year-old Bobby Rodgers and 32-year-old Victoria Morgan, all of Duquesne, Pennsylvania were refused to testify against Lance Yarbough and Anthony Pryor.

Prison

Yarbough and Pryor were on trial for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute heroin. All four defendants refused to testify even though U.S. District Court Judge Reggie B. Walton ordered them to testify pursuant to a grant of immunity, according to court documents.
