The Baltimore Police Department became involved in three separate shooting investigations on August 21, 2017. The night started off with a call to authorities at approximately 7:25 PM. At this time, police were dispatched to an area hospital to investigate a walk-in shooting victim.
The 18-year male had transported himself to the hospital after been shot in the wrist. After an interview with the victim, police learned that the incident occurred in the 900 block of North Monroe Street. Citywide Shooting detectives have been put in control of the investigation.
On the same night, police heard gunfire near West North Avenue and Druid Hill Avenue at approximately 8:43 PM. While canvassing the neighborhood, police found a 33-year-old male victim suffering from gunshot wounds in the 1200 block of West North Avenue.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. Again, Citywide Shooting detectives have been put in charge of the investigation. Finally, at 9:36 PM police responded to the 2100 block of Aiken Street after a reporting of a shooting. After arriving at the scene, officers immediately discovered evidence that a shooting at occurred.
During processing of the scene, a 31-year-old male arrived at the hospital seeking treatment for gunshot woods.
