Baltimore police said three people were shot, one fatally, overnight in the city.
Around 12:20 a.m. Tuesday morning, police arrived at a local hospital, where a man was being treated for a gunshot wound. The 29-year-old victim told police that he was in the 1300 block of Woodbourne Avenue when he heard gunshots. After running to safety, he discovered that he had been shot in the leg. Police said a family member took the man to the hospital for treatment.
Around about the same time, police responded to the 2000 block of West Pratt Street in Carrollton Ridge, where they found a 20-year-old man who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his back. He was taken to a local hospital, where he is listed in serious condition.
Police believe the shooting took place in the first block of North Monroe Street.
About an hour later, police responded to a report of a shooting in the 4900 block of Greenspring Avenue in Cylburn. Upon arrival, responding officers discovered Necole Raheem, 28, of the 1500 block of Leslie Street. Raheem had suffered a fatal gunshot wound, police said.
