Baltimore Police Investigating Shooting In The Northeast District, Victims Identified In Separate Fatal Shooting

Baltimore Police said a man was shot Saturday morning in the Northeast District.

Around 9:43 a.m., police received a report of a shooting in the 3300 block of Elmora Avenue. At the scene, the responding officers found a 30-year-old man who had suffered gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, police said.

The victim fatally shot in the 200 block of North Bond Street has been identified as thirty-two-year-old Derrian Griffin.

The victim fatally shot in the 200 block of South Collins Avenue has been identified as 35-year-old Devin Booze.

Police responded to the 1000 block of Hillen Street to investigate a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, the responding officers located three adult women who had been stabbed. One of the women’s injuries was determined to be life threatening, police said.

All three victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

After an investigation, detectives determined the stabbings followed a verbal dispute inside a local lounge, which further developed into a physical altercation outside the establishment. A fourth victim involved in the incident arrived at a local hospital seeking treatment for stab wounds.

The victim with life threatening stab wounds was taken to the Mercy Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. She has been identified as 22-year-old Nijenae Allen.
