Baltimore Police Investigating Fatal Shooting, Victims Identified In Recent Fatal Shootings

Baltimore police are investigating three separate overnight shootings that left one person dead and two others injured.

Police arrived at an area hospital around 9:54 p.m. Sunday night, where a 30-year-old man was being treated for a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim told police that he was in the 2800 block of Woodbrook Avenue, when an unknown suspect shot him and his girlfriend transported him to the hospital.

The man and his girlfriend refused to provide detectives with any additional information about the shooting.

About 10:12 p.m. Sunday night, police arrived a local hospital, where a 25-year-old man was being treated for a gunshot wound. The bullet entered his upper arm and went into his chest, police said. The victim told police he was approached and by an unknown suspect, while in the 800 block of North Carey Street.

The man was treated and is currently listed in stable condition.

Around 1:08 a.m. Monday morning, police received a report of a shooting in the 1700 block of Ruxton Road. Upon arrival, the responding officers found a 37-year-old male, who had been shot in the torso and head. He was transported to a local hospital and later pronounced dead.

The victim was later identified as Barry Lee, of the 400 block of Oxford Court.

Police have identified the man fatally shot in the 1600 block of Gertrude on August 5 as Donte Johnson, 37, of the 1700 block of Ruxton Street.

The man fatally shot on August 5 in the 1300 block of Sargeant Street has also been identified as Lamontrey Tynes, 24.
