Late Friday, the Federal Bureau of Investigation announced that it arrested the bank robber dubbed the “American League Bandit.” The suspect entered various banks in Maryland, wearing a black American League’s baseball hat.
The suspect’s name and details of the arrest are not available at the time.
FBI recently offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to the suspect’s arrest. The suspect is believed to have committed a string of robberies starting on November 7. The first financial institution targeted was the Rosedale Federal bank in Baltimore. The suspect allegedly robbed banks in Timonium, Cockeysville, Annapolis and Columbia in Maryland, as well as banks in Virginia.
The suspect wore a dark colored baseball hat with a New York Yankees or Baltimore Orioles logo, while committing the robberies.
