19-Year-Old Shot In The Western District, Police Say

Baltimore Police said a 19-year-old man was shot in the Western District Tuesday afternoon.

Around 5:20 p.m., police responded to a report of gunfire at the intersection of Presstman Street at North Gilmor Street. At the scene, the responding officer began canvassing the area.

Two minutes later, police received a report of a shooting in the 1600 block of Bakbury Court. Upon arrival, officers located a 19-year-old man who had been shot in the hip.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Additional details were not immediately available.
